# Billing and Subscriptions

Are.na is a platform that is 100% community owned and supported. For more detail, see our [Roadmap page](https://www.are.na/about#roadmap).

There are three tiers of Are.na membership:

* **Guest (free)** – limited to 200 [connections](https://help.are.na/docs/getting-started/connections "mention"), useful for trying the platform out and getting a feel for it
* **Premium** – unlimited connections, and additional features like reader mode, table view, and scoped search
* **Supporter** – for those who want to contribute a little extra towards the improvement of Are.na, everything in the premium tier plus a free [Are.na Annual](https://www.are.na/editorial/introducing-the-are-na-annual-2024), access to bi-annual investor reports and early access to new features.

You can upgrade and manage all of your billing details on the [billing page](https://www.are.na/billing).
