What you get with an Are.na Premium subscription
Upgrading to Premium removes the connection limit on your account and unlocks a handful of features for reading and organizing your content. Here's a look at what's included. For pricing and how to upgrade, see Billing and Subscriptions.
On a free (Guest) account, you can make up to 200 Connections. Premium removes the limit entirely, so you can keep connecting blocks and channels as much as you like.
Reader mode pulls the full text out of a link block, so articles and other long links are easy to read right on Are.na.
Because reader mode extracts the text of your links, that text becomes searchable too. Search can look inside the full content of a block, so you can find it by what's written inside, not just by its title or description.
Table view displays the contents of a channel as a list with columns for metadata like title, source, and the date a block was added. It's a good fit for channels you treat more like a database than a moodboard, and makes it easy to scan and sort a lot of blocks at once.
With Premium you can manually set the thumbnail for link and file blocks, so they look just the way you want in a grid. For a step-by-step walkthrough, see Editing blocks.
Pinning keeps a block at the top of a channel no matter how the rest of the contents are sorted. It's a good way to keep an important reference always in view at the start of a channel.
